NOTARIAL SERVICES

AUTHENTICATION

A notarial or other official act performed by an official of the Indonesian government on a document intended for use in the Philippines should be verified by an officer of the Philippine Embassy. The officer of the Philippine Embassy shall then issue a Certificate of Authentication in order to give the service legal force and effect in the Philippines.

Requirements:

1. The document must be notarized by and have the stamp of:

a. Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Gedung CIK's Jalam Cikini Raya Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia;
b. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jl. Pejambon No. 6, Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia.

2. Original and photocopy of the notarized document to be authenticated.

3. Processing fee of Rp 412,500 per document (to be paid in cash).

Note: Authentication is called legalization (of documents) in Indonesia.
