(23 January 2025, Jakarta) – The Economic Team of the Philippine Embassy, led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i Gonaranao B. Musor, met today with officials from the Philippine Business Club Indonesia (PBCI), headed by Chairman Antonio B. Capati. The meeting focused on exchanging ideas and identifying priorities to strengthen coordination between the Embassy and PBCI in the conduct of economic diplomacy.
During the meeting, CDA Musor also introduced the newly arrived Commercial Counsellor of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Jakarta, Ms. Jollan Margaret A. Llaneza. Ms. Llaneza took the opportunity to present the Department of Trade and Industry’s key priorities for Indonesia, emphasizing initiatives aimed at boosting economic partnerships and fostering business opportunities between the two countries.
Both parties expressed their commitment to continued cooperation in advancing the shared goals of strengthening economic ties and increasing the visibility of Philippine brands and businesses in Indonesia. (END)
