(12 March 2025, Jakarta) - Charge d’Affaires Gonaranao B. Musor received the delegation from the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI) at the Chancery on 12 March 2025.

The delegation headed by DOST-PTRI Chief Science Research Specialist, Ms. Evangeline Flor P. Manalang, visited Indonesia to engage with its counterparts and exchange best practices in developing strategies to ensure ethical and sustainable processing of indigenous fabrics.

During the call, Chief Manalang affirmed DOST-PTRI’s commitment to the continuing development of  sustainable and innovative solutions to ensure the high quality and competitiveness of Philippine fabrics in the local and global market.

During the call, CDA Musor conveyed the Embassy’s full support to DOST-PTRI’s thrust to strengthen the Philippine textile industry and to preserve Philippine cultural heritage through the mainstreaming of Philippine indigenous textiles. END
