(10 April 2025, Jakarta) - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta welcomed twelve (12) students and two (2) faculty advisers from the College of Human Environment Sciences and Food Studies (CHEFS) of the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) in Davao City, as part of their participation in the Student Exchange Program with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCUI).

The visit forms part of Phase 3 of the NUTRIA (Nutrition, Universal Training, and Research for International Advancement) Program, which was held on 05-12 April 2025. This initiative highlights the University’s commitment in fostering international academic collaboration and promoting international exposure for its Nutrition and Dietetics students. Participants engaged in both academic and cultural activities aimed at enriching their global perspectives in the field of nutrition.

During their visit to the Embassy, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Maricar S. Yambao delivered a presentation on the Embassy’s mission, vision, and key accomplishments, giving the students a deeper understanding of the role of Philippine foreign services posts in fostering bilateral relations and supporting Filipino communities abroad. The delegation also had the opportunity to tour the various sections of the Embassy, including the Sentro Rizal. END
