(21 May 2025, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, through its Sentro Rizal Jakarta, welcomed eleven (11) students and one (1) teacher from Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 61 Jakarta as part of ongoing initiatives to foster cultural understanding and educational linkages between the Philippines and Indonesia.
During the visit, students learned about the rich and diverse heritage of the Philippines through a series of informative presentations and interactive discussions. The briefing highlighted the rich cultural heritage shared between the Philippines and Indonesia, enabling students to gain deeper appreciation of the Philippines’ history and values.
The visiting students were given an overview of the Philippine Embassy’s functions, highlighting its vital role in promoting stronger relations between the Philippines and Indonesia.
