07 March 2024, Jakarta. Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin called on the Director General for Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Dr. Hilmar Farid on 07 March 2024 at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MOECRT).

The two officials met to discuss preparations for the cultural activities for the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Indonesia in November 2024, and the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cultural Cooperation between the government of Indonesia and the Philippines signed on 05 September 2022 between Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo, on behalf of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi, on behalf of the MOECRT, on the occasion of the official visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on 04-06 September 2022. 

Both officials acknowledged that the milestone celebration of the Philippines-Indonesia Diplomatic Relations in 2024, through collaboration between the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoECRT), shall serve as another opportunity for both countries to showcase each other’s world class talents in the creative and the performing arts.  END.
