Portuguese Ambassador H.E. Miguel de Calheiros Velozo calls on PH Ambassador to Indonesia

(22 July 2024, Jakarta) - Portuguese Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Miguel de Calheiros Velozo, paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Gina Jamoralin at the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta. During the call, Ambassador Velozo expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the Philippines in the fields of culture, trade, defense/security and other areas of mutual concern. 

Both Ambassadors looked forward to future collaborations between the Philippines and Portugal in promoting their shared history and cultural heritage.

Ambassador Velozo is Portugal’s non-resident Ambassador-designate to the Philippines. He is currently awaiting the schedule of his presentation of credentials to President Marcos Jr. END.
