(04 August 2024, Bali) - Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin graced the Opening Ceremony of the Filipinas Institute for the Advancement of Arts and Culture (FILARTS) Inc. exhibit entitled CONFLUENCE: Bridging Worlds with Artistic Expression held on 04 August 2024 at the Museum Pasifika in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia.
Twenty-five (25) artists from the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam and India showcased their masterpieces capturing the vibrant cultures, traditions, history and the everyday lives of people across Asia. Seven (7) Filipino artists were featured: FilArts President Mr. Roy Espinosa, Mr. Aris Bagtas, Mr. Roland Rosacay, Mr. Elvin Vitor, Ms. Espie Bagtas, Ms. Ingrid Aimee PeƱaflor, and Ms. Rose Cameron.
In her remarks, Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin highlighted the robust cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the Philippines and Indonesia as the two countries celebrate 75 years of their diplomatic relations this year. The Ambassador also recognized the creative brilliance and dedication of the artists and thanked FilArts Inc. for the successful collaborative project.
Ambassador Jamoralin was personally welcomed by Mr. Philippe Augier, Founder of Museum Pasifika.
The art exhibit will run from 04 to 10 August 2024. END
