(12-13 August 2024, Banjarmasin) - Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin joined the South Borneo Investment Forum (SBIF) 2024 in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, organized by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of South Kalimantan Province and the Regional Government of South Kalimantan.

The SBIF aims to promote the wealth of investment opportunities in South Kalimantan Province to prospective investors. The SBIF 2024 also provided one-on-one meeting sessions with project owners ready to offer clean & clear projects which includes poultry slaughterhouse and processing facilities, hydroelectric power plant,  milkfish cultivation integrated with canning industry, snakehead fish cultivation and its processing industry, oleochemical industry, waste management system, aerocity hotel and hiyung chili industry.

The Ambassador also joined a site visit to a poultry slaughterhouse in Banjarmasin.

The Forum was also attended by the Ambassador of Cambodia, Ambassador of Belarus, First Secretary of the Embassy of Sri Lanka, Economic Officer of the Embassy of Netherlands, Head of Trade of the Embassy of Denmark, and the German-Indonesia Chamber of Commerce. END
