(23 August 2024, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia welcomed five (5) students and one (1) faculty member from the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City when they visited the chancery to call on Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin.

The Philippine Embassy gave them a brief orientation as part of their learning experience on diplomacy. Ambassador Jamoralin shared her knowledge and experience in the foreign service after showing the students around the various sections of the embassy, including the Sentro Rizal Library where they were able to browse its modest collection of books offering information on Philippine culture, history and tourism.

The students of the University of San Agustin are BS Foreign Service majors who arrived in Jakarta to participate in the Jakarta Model United Nations (JMUN) 2024 on 23-25 August 2024. END
