(31 August 2024, Surabaya) - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, together with the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in Singapore and Philhealth, successfully conducted a Consular Outreach and Field Registration for Overseas Voters in Surabaya on 31 August 2024.

In line with the Philippine government’s commitment to bring its services closer to overseas Filipinos, the Philippine Embassy, PhilHealth, and MWO/OWWA Singapore each provided updates on their respective services and programs that Filipinos in Surabaya and nearby areas can avail of.

The Philippine Embassy, led by Vice Consul Maricar S. Yambao, also presented the initiatives of the Philippine Government under the “Bagong Pilipinas” campaign and the Embassy’s upcoming activities for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Philippines-Indonesia diplomatic relations. END
