(03 September 2024, Bali) - Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin represented the Philippines at the recently held High-Level Meeting on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLM-MSP) with the theme, ‘Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Development: Towards a Transformative Change’ in Bali, Indonesia on 1-3 September 2024. Participating countries conveyed their recommendations on the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), through cooperation of governments and institutions in the private sector.

Ambassador Jamoralin conveyed the Philippines’ commitment to south-south and triangular cooperation, the Bandung spirit, sustainable financing, and disaster risk management. This goal aligns with the priorities of the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) that will be hosted by the Philippines on 14-18 October 2024.

The HLM-MSP aims to promote sustainable growth to the economies of developing economies and middle-income countries (MICs). This is consistent with the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, and AmbisyonNatin 2040. END.
