(09 September 2024, Jakarta) – Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin received the Overseas Remittance Officers of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), Messrs. Vincent Paul A. Ferrer and Mark Raymond N. Papa, at the Embassy in Jakarta. The LBP Officers are in Indonesia to meet their remittance partners, PT Prima in Jakarta and PT Songpeng in Batam, as part of LBP’s efforts to further strengthen their presence in Indonesia.

Ambassador Jamoralin encouraged LBP to broaden its engagement with Filipino community organizations in Indonesia by holding a webinar on financial literacy and to discuss the various services offered by LBP for OFs and OFWs, especially using their mobile application which will soon allow account holders to easily pay their contributions to SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.

The Ambassador likewise suggested for LBP to actively participate in future activities of the Philippine Embassy with the Filipino community in order to reach as many kababayans as possible. END.
