(15 September 2024, Semarang) - Defense and Armed Forces Attache, Col. Emerson M. Delos Santos, together with Second Secretary and Foreign Liaison Officer Alvin Devaras and PEMS Rommel Mallari of the Office of the Police Attache, represented Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin during the closing ceremony of ATIN ITO, a sportsfest organized by the Filipino Community in Semarang, Central Java last 15 September.

Around 100 Filipinos participated in the sportsfest held at Sehabat Arena.

The one-day event aimed to improve physical fitness and foster closer camaraderie among the Filipino community in Central Java. It also served as a platform to strengthen interpersonal connections, cultivate a unified spirit, and promote a shared sense of purpose and sportsmanship.

"To our dedicated kababayans, enthusiastic volunteers, sponsors, and supportive Philippine Embassy personnel, thank you for making this event possible and successful. We look forward to future events with anticipation and remain committed to fostering inclusivity within our community," said Mr. Tadeo Montes, Chairman of FILCOMIN Central Java.

The day's activities began with an energetic Zumba session attended by all the participants, followed by competitive events to showcase their athleticism in basketball, volleyball, and other games. END
