(27 September 2024, Jakarta) – In line with the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta’s observance of the Philippine Creative Industries Month every September, Minister and Consul General Gonaranao B. Musor met with PT. Inter Solusindo Film Executive Director Linan Kusno to discuss the possibility of commercially showing Filipino films and TV content in Indonesia.

PT. Inter Solusindo Film has been importing foreign TV series and films, mainly from Thailand, to Indonesia since 1996.

The two sides agreed to coordinate with the Film Development Council of the Philippines and various Film and TV industry players in the Philippines. As the Philippines and Indonesia are celebrating this year the 75th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations, this initiative, if realized, will further strengthen economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries, as well as benefit PH’s creative industries, particularly the film and broadcast sectors.
