(13 April 2025, Medan) - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta officially opened the start of the voting period for the 2025 midterm election in Medan, North Sumatra on 13 April 2025. Third Secretary and Vice Consul Glenn Joseph D. Teh led the consular team as they conducted the first of a series of overseas field pre-voting enrollment and voting missions around Indonesia.

Embassy personnel assisted Filipinos in Medan regarding concerns with the online voting process and system in the enrollment of their data, as well as voting steps. Other consular services were also offered during the overseas field mission in Medan.

The Embassy encourages all Filipinos to exercise their right to vote, and reminds all overseas voters in Indonesia of the following important dates:

07 May 2025: End of Enrollment Period
12 May 2025 (60:00 PM WIB, 07:00 PM PST): End of Voting Period.

Overseas field missions for the 2025 midterm election and consular outreach will also be conducted in Batam (19 April 2025), Bali, Surabaya, and Semarang. END
