(26 July 2023, Jakarta) – Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin was in Bali this week where she paid a courtesy call on Denpasar Vice Mayor I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa.

During her courtesy call on the Vice Mayor at City Hall, Amb. Jamoralin discussed the possibility of cooperative partnerships between Bali and various cities in the Philippines with similar demographics and priority areas for development. Vice Mayor Wibawa conveyed that Denpasar is open to such opportunity and welcomes partnerships in various fields of interest such as tourism, culture, creative economy, capacity building, and education.

The ambassador shared her priority plans to reinvigorate the two countries' relationships in trade and the economy, culture, education, tourism and creative economy in line with the signing of the MOU on Creative Economy and Cultural Cooperation, during the State Visit of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. in September 2022. (END)
