(27 September 2023, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia welcomed fourteen (14) students from Prasetiya Mulya University and State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, who visited the chancery for a brief immersion with regards to the Philippine culture, economy, international issues and security.
The students were treated to a tour to the Embassy’s Sentro Rizal and were able to browse its modest collection of books offering information on Philippine culture, history and tourism.
Third Secretaries and Vice Consuls Glenn Joseph D. Teh and Maricar S. Yambao presented a short introduction about the Philippine Embassy in Indonesia, including the economic, cultural, and political situation of Philippine-Indonesia bilateral relations. The two (2) Embassy officers also shared their knowledge and experiences in the field of Foreign Service to the students by providing answers to their questions.
