There is no need to secure an appointment for the claiming of passports. Releasing time is from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays, except weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and the selected holidays that the Embassy will be observing: https://jakartape.dfa.gov.ph/about-us/holiday-schedule

Applicants or their representatives are expected to be in decent attire when coming to the Embassy.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR PASSPORT RELEASING

Core Requirements for Passport Releasing

  1. Original issued receipt and claim stub
  2. Original acceptable ID
  3. Old Passport (for renewal applications)
  4. In case of a lost receipt, the applicant or authorized representative is required to present the Original notarized Affidavit of Lost Receipt executed by the applicant

Passports unclaimed after one (1) year will be cancelled per Department Order No. 2021-012.

In case the applicant is unable to claim his/her passport, immediate family members* are allowed to claim the passport in behalf of the applicant:

  1. Authorization letter (must mention affiliation with applicant),
  2. Original issued receipt and claim stub,
  3. Valid ID (original and photocopy) of applicant and representative
    *Immediate family members of legal age such as parents, brother, sister, spouse or children

In case a person other than an immediate family member will claim the applicant's passport:

  1. Original notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA) executed by the applicant notarized at the Embassy, issued to the authorized representative
  2. Valid ID (original and photocopy) of applicant and representative indicated in the Special Power of Attorney

 

For minor applicants:

  1. If passport will be claimed by mother, claimant must present original issued receipt, claim stub and valid ID
  2. If passport will be claimed by father, claimant must present original issued receipt, claim stub, valid ID and PSA documents indicating proof of parental authority over the minor
