The following are the list of documentary requirements for foreign nationals seeking to obtain a visa to travel to the Philippines, and who fall under the categories of permitted travellers under the latest IATF-EID resolution and applicable regulations during this Covid-19 pandemic:

9A - Temporary Visitor's Visa

  • Foreign spouse of a Filipino national, who are not travelling together with the Filipino.
  • Foreign parent of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs, regardless of age
  • Foreign minor children and foreign children with special needs, regardless of age, of Filipino nationals
  • Foreign nationals who were granted exemption by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR 9(A) TEMPORARY VISITOR'S VISA

Foreign Spouse/Parent/Minor

  1. Duly accomplished Visa Application Form
  2. One (1) passport-sized colored photo taken against a white background and within the last three (3) months
  3. Passport, valid for at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated stay in the Philippines
  4. Airline booking or itinerary of travel to other country of destination
  5. Proof of sufficient funds for travel expenses, accommodation and subsistence, such as bank statement, bank book, certificate of deposits and investments, etc. or notarized letter of guarantee from applicant’s host or sponsor in the Philippines
  6. Original and photocopy of the PSA Marriage contract OR foreign marriage contract authenticated by the Philippine Embassy / Original and photocopy of the PSA Birth certificate of the minor OR foreign birth certificate of the minor authenticated by the Philippine Embassy
  7. Copy of the passport of the Filipino national.
  8. Proof that the Filipino national is in the Philippines (if not travelling with foreign spouse/foreign child)

With National Task Force Exemption

  1. Duly accomplished Visa Application Form
  2. One (1) passport-sized colored photo taken against a white background and within the last three (3) months
  3. Passport, valid for at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated stay in the Philippines;
  4. Airline booking or itinerary of travel to other country of destination
  5. Other supporting documents that may be required by the Consular Officer upon their assessment. 

 

9C Seafarer's Visa / Crewlist

REQUIREMENTS FOR 9C VISA (Individual Seaman)

  1. Duly accomplished Visa Application Form No. 2
  2. One (1) recent photograph, with white or light-colored background, taken within the last three (3) months, size 3.5cm x 4.5 cm
  3. Original and photocopy of the passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond intended stay in the Philippines or completion of trip
  4. Original and photocopy of Seaman’s book
  5. Photocopy of KTP, if available.
  6. If the applicant has a local agent in Indonesia, the company in Indonesia should provide a letter indicating the name of the vessel he will be joining in the Philippines  and copy of the ID of the person who signed the letter;
  7. Copy of the Notarized letter from the agency in the Philippines and copy of the ID of the person who signed the letter
  8. Airline ticket

Fee is 330.000 per person

REQUIREMENTS FOR 9C CREW LIST VISA

  1. Letter request from the Shipping or manning agent
  2. Accomplished Form No 2 with photo and signature of the seafarer
  3. Accomplished Form No 61
  4. Copies of their passports

Fees:

1 – 40 crew members - IDR 1,650,000
41 – 100 crew members - IDR 2,475,000
101 – 200 crew members - IDR 3,300,000
More than 200 crew members - IDR 4,125,000

If sent via email, the Form 61 should be submitted in excel with e-signatures of the shipping agent and master of the vessel.

 

9E Foreign Government Officials and accredited International Organizations and their dependents

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Official written notification of the impending assignment of the FGO, transmitted to Post via a Diplomatic Note at least 30 days in advance of expected travel to the Philippines. The Note should state the particulars of the visa applicant, official designation in the mission, expected departure date from the country of origin, expected duration of assignment in the Philippines, and complete name and designation of the official he/she is coming to replace / if he/she is an additional official. (In the case of qualified dependents, the Note should state that the visa applicant will join and live with the principal for the duration of the latter’s assignment.)
  2. Duly filled out application form with recent passport-size photograph.
  3. Diplomatic / Service / Official passport + clear photo copy.
  4. Supporting documents to establish family ties, marital union, employee-employer relations, etc.

Prior authority is obtained from the Department of Foreign Affairs prior to issuance of visa.
