Pursuant to Resolution No. 165 dated 24 Mar 2022 issued by the Philippine Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) the Philippines has lifted all Covid-19 restrictions on visa issuance and all pre-pandemic visa processes are reinstated effective 01 April 2022.
The lifting of visa restrictions include among others:
- The resumption of issuance of all visa categories at Philippine Foreign Service Posts pursuant to relevant guidelines specific to visa categories concerned.
- The resumption of issuance of multiple-entry 9(A) temporary visitor visa.
- The resumption of all visa-free entry privileges not previously reinstated by earlier circulars, including those under visa waiver agreements.
- The recognition of the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) both physical and virtual, for entry into the Philippines.
