(15 November 2024, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, led by Minister and Consul General Gonaranao B. Musor, received a courtesy call from Guimaras State University (GSU) on 15 November 2024 at the Chancery.  GSU traveled to Indonesia to formalize the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Institut Pertanina Bogor (IPB) University and Universitas Pakuan (UNPAK), to foster academic cooperation, including faculty and student exchanges, and conduct of joint research.

Consul General Musor welcomed the delegation and the signing of the MOUs which is in line with the Embassy’s thrust to strengthen academic exchanges between the two countries as they celebrate this year the 75th anniversary of the establishment of their bilateral relations.

The delegation was led by Dr. Joel V. Japitana (GSU Director of International Affairs), Ms. Sara Nurmala (UNPAK Head of Faculty Collaboration), Ms. Henny Rusmiyati (IPB Lecturer) and four (4) Filipino exchange students from IPB.

Consul General Musor was accompanied by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Glenn Joseph D. Teh during the call. END.
