(02 May 2025, Jakarta) – Chargé d’Affaires Gonaranao B. Musor of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta attended the official campaign launch of Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2025 on 02 May 205 at Menara Imperium, Jakarta.

With the theme “Ronakultura Jakarta,“ this year’s IFW celebrates Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant fashion industry. The event is set to take place from 28 May to 1 June 2025 at the Jakarta Convention Center.

Representing the Philippines at this prestigious fashion event is Filipino designer Mr. Jericho “Koko” Gonzales, whose creations were also featured during the Final Competition of TernoCon2025 held on 25 January. Mr. Gonzales will showcase his work during the Grand Closing Program on 1 June, offering a unique platform to highlight Filipino creativity and craftsmanship.

After a short hiatus, the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta looks forward to showcasing again Filipino talent in IFW in line with the cultural and economic diplomacy thrust of promoting our creative industries.

CDA Musor was accompanied at the launch by Commercial Counsellor Jollan Margaret Llaneza of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center - Jakarta and Cultural Officer Rady Dela Cruz. The Philippines’ participation in IFW was also made possible through the support of Philippine Business Club Indonesia and its Chairman, Mr. Antonio Capati. END
