(05 Apr 2023, Jakarta) -- Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin paid a courtesy call on Mr. Mirza Nurhidayat, Director for Southeast Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 05 April 2023 to discuss matters concerning PHL-IDN bilateral relations.

The courtesy call on Director Nurhidayat marks the Philippine Ambassador-designate’s initiative to fulfill her mandate to further strengthen Philippine partnership with Indonesia. Under her stewardship as the new Ambassador of the Philippines to Indonesia, Amb. Jamoralin strives to encourage collaboration between two countries by broadening exchanges on best practices in several fields of cooperation – maritime, defense, trade and investment, cultural and education, consular, energy, health, and science and technology – and in preparation for the 75th Anniversary of Philippine-Indonesia relations in 2024.

The Director for Southeast Asia expressed his support to broaden the scope of collaboration between the Philippines and Indonesia.
