The Ambassador-designate of the Philippines to Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin paid a courtesy call on the Director-General for Asia Pacific and Africa Abdul Kadir Jailani of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 26 April 2023.
The call on Director-General for Asia Pacific and Africa is a continuation of Amb. Jamoralin’s efforts in connecting with the Indonesian government to strengthen the foundation of Philippine-Indonesia bilateral relations, while exploring other areas of cooperation that both countries can pursue in the future. Ambassador-designate Jamoralin assured Director-General Jailani of the Philippines’ commitment to accomplish the objectives laid out in the Plan of Action for 2022-2027. The discussion is a follow up of the last state visit of President Marcos Jr. in Indonesia in September 2022 which provided opportunities to enhance greater collaboration and follow up work.
