(01 November 2023, Jakarta) – H.E. Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin and the Philippine Embassy Officers and Staff in Jakarta welcomed faculty and students from the University of Makati (UMak), Philippines, who visited the chancery for an institutional briefing as part of their 2023 ASEAN Foreign Study Mission (FSM).

The UMak delegation, composed of four (4) professors, twelve (12) Business Administration students, twenty-three (23) Entrepreneurial Management Students and four (4) Alumni, which are also business executives and managers from various private institutions and government agencies in the Philippines such as All Nippon Airways, Wells Fargo EGS LLC, Citigroup, Accenture, Department of Justice, Department of Trade and Industry, and Philippine Navy, to name a few.

The delegation was led by Professor Jo-Dann N. Darong, Director III of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and UMak-MBA Faculty Lead.

The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta presented the UMak delegation an overview on the Embassy’s role in enhancing cooperation with Indonesia in the fields of trade and investment, creative economy, cultural diplomacy and other fields of mutual interest.
