25 November 2023, Surabaya, East Java – Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin graced the Christmas Party of the Filipino Community in East Java on 25 November 2023 at the Fairfield by Marriott Hotel as the event’s guest of honor.

The Christmas Party was attended by around 200 members of the Filipino Community based in Surabaya and nearby areas in East Java. As East Java is one of the regions in Indonesia with the greatest number of Overseas Filipinos, the Ambassador urged the members of the FILCOM there to support the activities of the Embassy in celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Indonesia in 2024.

The new set of Board of Directors of the FILCOM East Java, led by Mr. Edgardo C. Fuentes, likewise took their oath before the Ambassador during the said event.
