(24 January 2024, Jakarta) - Mr. Raman Ramanouski, the Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Indonesia met with H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin to express Belarus’ intent to explore opportunities to enhance collaboration with the Philippines in the field of agriculture and achieving global food security.   Mr. Ramanouski also expressed his optimism in being granted full accreditation as non-resident Ambassador of Belarus to the Philippines. 

Ambassador Jamoralin acknowledged Belarus as one of the Philippines’ key economic partners and expressed the Philippines’ openness to improve connectivity and exchange of trade and best practices between the Philippines and Belarus. 

Both officials looked forward to the convening of the inaugural political consultations between the Philippines and Belarus in 2024. END.
