(18 April 2024, Jakarta) – Visiting Assistant Labor Attaché and Officer-in-Charge Eduard Ferrer of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and Welfare Officer Florencio Teves III of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in Singapore paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin to discuss the programs, projects, and services of the Department of Migrant Workers for the OFWs in Indonesia.
Representatives of the MWO and OWWA are in Jakarta to render consultation services for OFWs based in Indonesia on 18 April 2024 at the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, as well as on 21 April 2024 as part of the scheduled Town Hall Meeting of the Embassy with the Filipino Community in Indonesia.
The MWO and OWWA representatives will likewise be joining the Embassy’s Consular Outreach Mission and Overseas Voting Field Registration in Semarang, Central Java on 20 April 2024.
Ambassador Jamoralin, Assistant Labor Attaché Ferrer, and Welfare Officer Teves III agreed to work hand in hand in bringing the various services of the Philippine government closer to our OFWs and kababayans in Indonesia.
