(06 July 2024, Bandung) – Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin attended the 2024 Asia-Africa Festival in Bandung City on 06 July 2024, together with eight (8) other ambassadors from Asia and Africa, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Iran, Tanzania and Vietnam, and representatives from other foreign missions in Jakarta.

The program was organized by the Bandung City Government led by the Acting Mayor Bambang Tirtoyuliono who hosted all delegation at Pendopo Kota Bandung. The highlights of the day’s event are the visit to the Asia - Africa Museum where delegates participated in a cultural discussion with Prof. Dr. Kunto Sofianto, PhD, and carnival and art stage. The Acting Governor of West Java Province, Bey Triadi Machmudin, led the carnival and art stage, which showcased cultural performances and costumes from Asian and African countries.

During the event, Ambassador Jamoralin discussed with Bandung Acting Mayor Bambang Tirtoyuliono about future prospects for collaboration with the Bandung City Government. (END)
