(21-27 July 2024, Bali) - Four (4) Filipino students successfully participated in the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) 2024 held from 21 to 27 July 2024 in Bali, Indonesia. The HYLI aims to inspire future leaders by providing a platform for networking and discussion with top-level speakers and leaders, as well as  promote cross-cultural understanding and harmony by focusing on regional and global issues with potential future ramifications.

The Filipino student representatives, Joachim Sebastian Ridulme (BS Public Administration, UP Diliman), Joseph Matthew Paraiso (BS Public Administration, UP Diliman), Jordan Jae Mantuano (BS Business Economics, UP Diliman) and Gio Jerson Almonte (BS Chemical Engineering, De La Salle University), presented their innovative solutions and ideas in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

Aside from the Philippines, the event featured student delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. END
