(17 August 2024, Jakarta) - Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin joined the 79th Indonesian Independence Day celebration at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta on 17 August 2024, together with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and other members of the diplomatic corps.

President Joko Widodo led the ceremony in Indonesia’s future capital, Nusantara. A celebration was also held simultaneously at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta that was led by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
