(18 October 2024, Jakarta) – Ambassador Gina Jamoralin attended the farewell reception hosted by outgoing Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi at Gedung Pancasila, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KEMLU) on 18 October 2024. The event was attended by the diplomatic corps in Jakarta and heads of various international and multilateral agencies.

During her remarks, FM Retno expressed her appreciation for the support of other countries during her 10-year tenure as Indonesia’s Foreign Minister under President Joko Widodo. She also shared that she is looking forward to her new appointment as United Nations Special Envoy on Water, which she will assume on 01 November 2024. FM Retno is the first female Indonesian Foreign Minister in Indonesia. (END)
