(03 March 2025, Jakarta) – To kick-off its celebration of the 2025 National Women’s Month this March, the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta held a special flag-raising ceremony featuring an all-women cast of “Lupang Hinirang” while proudly wearing their purple shirts.  

With the theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” this year’s celebration of National Women’s Month aims to foster a society where all women have equal rights, power, and opportunities.

The Embassy will be organizing other activities to honor women this month. The Filipino Community is reminded to keep following the Embassy’s website and social media pages for announcements on these upcoming activities. (END)
