(04 May 2025, Surabaya, East Java and Semarang, Central Java) - The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta conducted Overseas Voting Missions in Surabaya, East Java and Semarang, Central Java on 04 May 2025, officially concluding the Embassy’s overseas field voting missions for the 2025 Midterm Elections.

Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ihna Alyssa Marie O. Santos led the team in Surabaya, East Java, while Third Secretary and Vice Consul Maricar S. Yambao led the team in Semarang, Central Java. Representatives from the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) from Singapore, and Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) were likewise present during the said field missions.

Embassy personnel assisted Filipinos in Surabaya and Semarang on the procedures  and other concerns regarding online voting (OV) and OV pre-enrollment. Other consular services were also rendered during the said overseas field voting missions.

The Embassy encourages all Filipinos to exercise their right to vote, and reminds all overseas voters in Indonesia of the following important dates:

10 May 2025: Last day of enrollment at https://ov.comelec.gov.ph/enroll

12 May 2025 (06:00 PM WIB, 07:00 PM PST): End of Voting Period.
