The officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta commemorate the 127th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence.
(10 June 2025, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, led by Charge d’Affaires Gonaranao B. Musor, marked the beginning of the commemoration of the 127th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence with a flag-raising ceremony on 10 June 2025 at the Chancery.
The ceremony, which was co-hosted with the Philippine Mission to ASEAN, was attended by officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Mission, as well as selected representatives of the Filipino Community.
The Independence Day messages from Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo and Secretary of Trade and Industry Maria Cristina Aldeguer-Roque were read by Charge d’Affaires Maria Elena Cristina D. Maingat of the Philippine Mission to ASEAN and Commercial Counsellor Jollan Margaret A. Llaneza, respectively.
A Filipino breakfast consisting of beef tapa, bangus, pandesal, and puto were served and enjoyed by the guests after the ceremony. END
