(25 March 2023) – The Embassy welcomes H.E. Gina Alagon Jamoralin, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Philippines to Indonesia, who recently arrived in Jakarta to assume her duties at Post.

Ambassador-designate Jamoralin is a career diplomat who has served the country in various capacities, such as in Bucharest, Tokyo and most recently as Consul General of the Philippines in Chicago (2018-2020), and Honolulu (2014-2018). Prior to her assignment to Indonesia, Ambassador-designate Jamoralin served as the Assistant Secretary for International Economic Relations, and previously as Assistant Secretary for American Affairs of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

With her extensive background in Economics, she is keen on further enhancing Philippine-Indonesian bilateral relations through economic diplomacy.
