(07-08 March 2024, Jakarta) – To mark the Philippine Embassy’s 2024 National Women’s Month Celebration, H.E. Gina Jamoralin started the commemoration by attending the International Women’s Day 2024 commemoration hosted by the Embassy of Colombia in Jakarta, where women diplomats and private women stakeholders participated on 07 March 2024 in Raffles Hotel Jakarta. With the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” the event featured success stories of Colombian women in different walks of life.

On 08 March 2024, Ambassador Jamoralin received H.E. Denis Chaibi, Ambassador of the European Union to Indonesia to discuss bilateral cooperation. Coinciding with the International Women’s Day, Ambassador Chaibi joined the celebration with a short interview on how Ambassador Jamoralin can inspire young women today, to which she answered: “Volunteer, get involved, and use your talents for the benefit of all the women in the world.”

Following this, Ambassador Jamoralin hosted a luncheon for the ASEAN Ambassadors in Jakarta on 08 March 2024 at Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta.
