The public is informed that pursuant to Resolution No. 119 of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) issued on 04 Jun 2021, and based upon the recommendation of the Philippine Department of Tourism, foreign nationals holding valid Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV) will be allowed to enter the Philippines without need to obtain an entry exemption document.

Concerned foreign nationals falling under this category are advised to directly coordinate with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration for queries and clarification regarding their entry and admission to the Philippines.

All other foreign nationals travelling as temporary visitors on company business / urgent project or infrastructure works must obtain an entry exemption document through their sponsoring company/agency based in the Philippines, before applying for a 9A visa.
