(30 Jun 2021) -- Pursuant to Resolution No. 123-B dated 28 June 2021 issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) of the Republic of the Philippines the following are the entry policies applicable for arriving diplomats in the Philippines:

  1. Diplomats arriving in the Philippines shall be exempted from the inbound arrival quota imposed by the Department of Transportation (DoTr). 

  2. The following testing and quarantine protocols on foreign delegations shall be adopted in cases of foreign law enforcement officers who will enter the Philippines in connection with the implementation of treaty obligations on extradition, mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, and transfer of sentenced persons, including those who will accept the physical transfer of custody of the person being deported to the country of nationality or origin:

a.) If less than 72 hours in the country, a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the country of origin shall be presented.

b.) If more than 72 hours in the country, RT-PCR test shall be conducted upon arrival.

 

N.B:

Diplomats who are not new arrivals and are holding valid diplomatic visas do not need an entry exemption document to re-enter the Philippines.(Note No. 2021-2795 / 18 Jun 2021)
