The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta joins the Department of Justice in raising awareness against Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM), as well as in the global celebration of Safer Internet Day (SID) 2025 on 11 February 2025.

The Philippines has actively participated in the SID celebration since the issuance of Proclamation No. 417 on February 5, 2018. This year’s theme, "Digital Bayanihan, Para sa Kabataang Ligtas at Protektado Online,” emphasizes the importance of a whole-of-nation approach in creating a safer digital space for children.
