The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta conducted consular services outreach missions in the provinces of Batam, Riau Islands and Surabaya, East Java last 25 March 2023 and 30 April 2023, respectively, led by Vice Consul Ihna Alyssa Marie O. Santos.

Philippine Ambassador-designate to Indonesia calls on the Ambassador of the Laos PDR

Ambassador-designate Gina A. Jamoralin paid a courtesy call on H.E. Phomma Sidsena, Ambassador of Laos People’s Democratic Republic to Indonesia on 23 May 2023. Ambassador Phomma Sidsena is the longest staying Ambassador among ASEAN countries accredited to the Republic of Indonesia.

During the call, the two officials exchanged views on their experiences on Indonesia’s successful hosting of the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo. Further, the two officials looked forward to participating in future opportunities for collaboration with ASEAN counterparts in Indonesia.

H.E. Fabien Penone, Ambassador-designate of France to Indonesia paid a courtesy call on Ambassador-designate Gina A. Jamoralin to establish rapport with his counterpart Ambassadors of ASEAN countries to Indonesia.  During the call, the French Ambassador emphasized the growing importance of ASEAN to France’s foreign policy. The French Ambassador conveyed France’s active commitment to strengthen ties with ASEAN and its Member States.
