PH Embassy joins the 2024 National Women's Month Celebration

 (11 March 2024, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta joins the 2024 National Women’s Month Celebration this March with the sub-theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!”

To show solidarity with women’s empowerment and gender equality, Embassy personnel wore purple shirts and conducted its Flag-Raising Ceremony playing an all-women cast of “Lupang Hinirang.”

Grounded on the objective of transforming culture toward a more equal and inclusive future, the 2024 NWMC the sub-theme echoes the target outcomes of Chapter 15 in the Updated Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Plan 2019-2025 towards transforming gender norms and culture.

Algerian Ambassador to Indonesia visits the Chancery

04 March 2024, Jakarta.  Algerian Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Hassane Rabehi visited the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta and met with Ambassador Gina A. Jamoralin to explore strategies to forge stronger partnership between the Philippines and Algeria. 

The two Ambassadors exchanged anecdotes on their positive experience as Ambassadors to Indonesia and how their meeting can become instrumental in enhancing the Philippines and Algeria’s collaboration with Indonesia in various areas of cooperation. END.
