(08 August 2023, Jakarta) Philippine Navy (PN) Flag Officer-in-Command Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr. together with visiting officers and staff of PN paid a courtesy call on the Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin.
Ambassador Jamoralin and VADM Adaci, Jr. exchanged ideas on potential strategies on how the Philippines can further improve its defense capability to protect the country’s maritime borders and to maintain peace and order at sea. During the call, the two officials emphasized the strong and established partnership between the Philippines and Indonesia, evident in the Philippines’ maritime training activities and Navy-to-Navy talks with Indonesia.
The Philippine Navy delegation is currently in Indonesia to attend the 1st Steel Cutting of the Landing Dock on 09 August 2023 at PT PAL in Surabaya.

08 August 2023 - Ayungin Shoal, as explicitly stated in the Award of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitration, is a low-tide elevation that is not subject to sovereignty claims or appropriation. It is part of the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines over which the Philippines has sovereign rights and jurisdiction.
The Philippines’ resupply missions and repair of BRP Sierra Madre are part of regular operations in line with domestic and international law, and ensures safety and wellbeing of our stationed personnel.

(06 Aug 2023) – House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez met the Filipino community in Indonesia today at a small community gathering organized by the Philippine Embassy. Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Gina A. Jamoralin delivered the welcome remarks and opened the program attended by approximately one hundred-fifty individuals including embassy staff, for the meet-and-greet event held at the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt hotel in Jakarta.
