(05 September 2024, Jakarta) - Members of the Filipino community in Indonesia were in full force as they attended the Holy Mass celebrated by Pope Francis at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on 05 September 2024, as part of the Papal Journey in Jakarta from 03 to 06 September 2024.

(30 August 2024) - Mr. Jonathan Malaya Jimenez Damary, a recent magna cum laude BA Linguistics graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman was the sole Filipino recipient of the Darmasiswa Scholarship of Indonesia for Academic Year 2024/2025.

The roundtable is one of the key events organized by the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Jakarta, Embassy of the Philippines Indonesia (represented by Mr. Jeremiah Reyes, Commercial Attaché) and the DTI’s Competitiveness and Innovation Group (DTI-CIG) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-Indonesia diplomatic relations, underscoring their shared commitment to fostering economic and cultural collaboration.
