 (21 February 2024, Jakarta) – The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia conducted a Briefing on Contingency Planning, Emergency Preparedness and Security Seminar in collaboration with the Office of the Police Attaché (OPA) and the Foreign Liaison Office (FLO) in Indonesia, providing a comprehensive understanding and knowledge on how to prepare and what to do in the event of a crisis emanating from either natural disaster (volcanic eruption, earthquake, tsunami and extreme flooding) or man-made emergency (civil unrest, armed conflict, chemical/nuclear accident, epidemic, pandemic, etc). Basic information on safety and security and emergency preparedness were also highlighted during the briefing.

(16 February 2024, Jakarta) – Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina A. Jamoralin joined an investment promotions event of the Indonesian Ministry of Investment (BKPM) and discussed prospects in investment cooperation between the Philippines and Indonesia in the field of energy.

(12 to 15 February 2024, Jakarta) – Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. Gina Jamoralin, along with other representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Jakarta, attended Indonesia’s Election Visit Program (IEVP) organized by the Indonesian General Elections Committee (Komisi Pemilihan Umum or KPU) on 12 to 15 February 2024. Electoral bodies, civil society organizations and media from various countries were also invited during the program.

The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta will conduct a Consular Services Outreach Activity, including overseas voter registration for the 2025 Philippine mid-term elections, on 16 March 2024 (Saturday) in Batam, Riau Islands.  

The following services will be available during the outreach:

  • Overseas Voter Registration
  • Passport  Applications (new or renewal)  
  • Civil Registration (Report of birth, marriage, and death)
  • NBI Form No. 5 Fingerprinting (NBI clearance application form)
  • Notarials (Acknowledgment and Jurat)

Filipinos who wish to avail the services of the Embassy during the outreach are required to register on this link http://tinyurl.com/batam2024. The venue, time slot, and other relevant details will be emailed to the applicants who will register for the outreach.
